2nd Annual Lights and Latkes

Come one - Come all!

We will light the menorah candles, share a prayer or two, and enjoy some delicious potato latkes from various recipes and cultures.

A Jewish holiday tradition shared with the community or Point Roberts. Come one, come all with a sample of your family or cultural potato latkes to share with others.

Last year was wonderful as we celebrated the holiday season with a variety of delicious latkes. This year will even be better.

We will also break bread with a prayer and a loaf of fresh Challah curtesy of Ollie Otter Bakery.

So break out those recipes and fry up or bake those wonderful latkes and bring them down to the community center on December 29 at 5pm for joyous social celebration.

All are welcome.

If you need a ride to the event, please contact Mitch Friedman (503) 869-7310 at least a few days in advance so I can make sure we get you there. No excuses

This is time to come together and not allow any differences to come in between friends and community. We have strong bonds here and need to build on those bonds. My hope is that everyone can take a moment to come and enjoy each other as human beings and as a community.

I want to thank the Point Roberts Park and Recreation for providing the space for this event.

Sunday December 29 5pm.
