"Today we're headed to Point Roberts.  Point Roberts, Washington is an exclave of the United States connected only to Canada and is accessible by personal boat small plane or by driving through. There are two border crossings on land.

After docking at the beautifully sunny Point Roberts marina resort we checked into the 49th parallel ports pass and got a map to plan our adventure.
We headed on foot to Point Roberts marketplace to stock up on some snacks for a day at the beach. They had a really cool locally made section and all of our favorite snacks.
We continued walking to Lighthouse Marine Park this beautiful park has a full-service campground a boat ramp picnic sites tidal pools and a boardwalk wrapping around the point.
Orca whales are known to love it in these waters so don't forget your binoculars.

After working up an appetite we walked to Breakwater's bar and grill next to
the marina for a craft brew and some delicious seafood sandwiches.

The next day we checked out the marine life living right under our floating home and headed out to explore a different part of town. We checked into Saltwater Cafe and redeemed a free 12-ounce coffee with the purchase of a mouth-watering donut in eclair.

We then walked to the marina along the water and set sail back to
Washington's mainland the views of the Canadian peaks, Mount Baker and the abundant wildlife made the trip home just as extraordinary as our time in Point Roberts.

By boat, car or plane you don't want to miss a trip to Point Roberts Washington."
